26 “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,(A)
who rides(B) across the heavens to help you(C)
and on the clouds(D) in his majesty.(E)
27 The eternal(F) God is your refuge,(G)
and underneath are the everlasting(H) arms.
He will drive out your enemies before you,(I)
    saying, ‘Destroy them!’(J)
28 So Israel will live in safety;(K)
    Jacob will dwell[a] secure
in a land of grain and new wine,
    where the heavens drop dew.(L)
29 Blessed are you, Israel!(M)
    Who is like you,(N)
a people saved by the Lord?(O)
He is your shield and helper(P)
    and your glorious sword.
Your enemies will cower before you,
and you will tread on their heights.(Q)

The Death of Moses

34 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo(R) from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah,(S) across from Jericho.(T) There the Lord showed(U) him the whole land—from Gilead to Dan,(V) all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,(W) the Negev(X) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(Y) as far as Zoar.(Z) Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(AA) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(AB) when I said, ‘I will give it(AC) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(AD) over into it.”

And Moses the servant of the Lord(AE) died(AF) there in Moab, as the Lord had said. He buried him[b] in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor,(AG) but to this day no one knows where his grave is.(AH) Moses was a hundred and twenty years old(AI) when he died, yet his eyes were not weak(AJ) nor his strength gone.(AK) The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab(AL) thirty days,(AM) until the time of weeping and mourning(AN) was over.

Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit[c] of wisdom(AO) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(AP) So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.

10 Since then, no prophet(AQ) has risen in Israel like Moses,(AR) whom the Lord knew face to face,(AS) 11 who did all those signs and wonders(AT) the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials(AU) and to his whole land. 12 For no one has(AV) ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds(AW) that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
